The NFL is looking for a new home for its playoff broadcasts, and a new NFL studio in Seattle will likely be the next destination for the league to make it happen.
The league confirmed to NFL Media on Thursday that it is working on a new studio in the Pacific Northwest, and that it’s in talks to bring a team to Seattle, as well as a new outdoor patio rug for the team’s practice facility in the city’s Ballard neighborhood.
“We’re trying to do a lot of stuff,” said a league source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the league was not authorized to publicly discuss the matter.
“Seattle is a great place to do that, but we’re also looking at all of the different places to do it.
We have to make sure that we’re doing it in a way that is good for our players, good for the NFL, and good for fans.”
Seattle’s proximity to the NFL’s Seattle-area broadcast market and proximity to one of the league’s most prestigious facilities will also help the team make the most of its new digs, which will feature a large outdoor stage for games, as will the possibility of bringing in the NFL Network to televise games on a larger screen.
While there are no clear plans yet to relocate the team to San Francisco, the league is also considering the possibility.
The Seahawks have been in Seattle since the 1996 season and have been there since 2005.
They began playing in the United States in 2011, with the team eventually moving to Seattle from Los Angeles.
The Seahawks were one of just six teams in the league when the league took its current television contract from the NFL and then the AFL, the other two being the Arizona Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 2015, the Seahawks announced that they were moving their team to its current home in Burien, Washington, which was a deal that included a new facility.
The new facility was built by the team and the NFL.
At the time, Seattle owner Paul Allen said the team would remain in Seattle for the long haul, with Allen calling the move a “great honor.”
“We have the best stadium in the country, and we have the most important facilities,” Allen said in 2016.
“The team will stay for many years.”
The new Seahawks facility will have a total of 18,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor areas, including a bar area, a lounge, a fitness center and a banquet hall, the source said.
The team has not revealed any details on the plans for the new indoor facility, but the team has already announced plans for a “bundled” outdoor area.
The source added that the team was working on building a new indoor practice facility that would be in a former NFL stadium, which is currently being used by the Seattle Seahawks’ practice facility.
Seattle also plans to build a new team-owned practice facility at CenturyLink Field.
The source said the new practice facility would be open to the public, and the facility would include a “lounge” with an outdoor stage.
The NFL will have an option to move the team in 2018 if a new stadium in Seattle is built.
The league could also move the franchise in 2019.
The Seattle-based team has had a tumultuous history since moving to the United State.
The franchise has been embroiled in several lawsuits, including one in 2016 in which former players and their families claimed that the franchise used excessive force against them during a 2015 game in Oakland, Calif.
After that incident, the team decided to move to Seattle in 2015, but was not able to get a new franchise.
The NFL was eventually able to move its franchise from Jacksonville to Atlanta, where it was relocated in 2017, and then to San Diego in 2018.
The team was later relaunched in 2017 and moved to Seattle after that.
Seattle has a record of seven NFL franchise relocations since 2000, with five of those coming in the last decade.
