Outdoor furniture set prices are a little higher than the year-ago peak.

Outdoor clothing sets The most popular outdoor clothing set category, outdoor apparel, has been a big seller.
According to the latest data from the Nielsen Consumer Tracking Service, the outdoor apparel category reached $2.6 billion in sales in 2016.
The total merchandise volume of outdoor apparel in 2016 was $2,053 billion, a record.
This is a slight increase over the year prior, when the apparel category was valued at $1.8 billion.
However, this increase has been offset by declines in apparel and outdoor footwear, the biggest declines in both categories over the last two years.
Outdoor apparel sales in the outdoor clothing category fell 1.5% in 2016, down from 2.9% in 2015.
The category is expected to see a rebound in 2017.
Outdoor accessories Outdoor accessories also saw a steep decline in 2016 compared to 2015.
According the Nielsen consumer tracking service, outdoor accessories sales in both 2016 and 2015 were down 7.4% and 7.5%, respectively.
Outdoor footwear sales in outdoor footwear categories in 2016 were down 4.3% from 2015.
Outdoor accessory sales in footwear categories were down 3.3%, down from 5.6% in the year before.
Outdoor hardware Outdoor hardware sales rose 0.9%, and total outdoor hardware sales in indoor, outdoor, and mixed categories increased 5.2%.
Outdoor accessories sales of indoor, mixed, and outdoor hardware in 2016 totaled $3.6 trillion, up 1.4%, from $3 trillion the year ago.
Outdoor furniture and accessories Outdoor furniture sales rose 5.3%.
In 2016, outdoor furniture sales in furniture categories were up 2.3%; outdoor furniture, footwear, and accessories in mixed categories were 7.6%; and outdoor furniture and accessory sales of outdoor furniture were up 1%.
Outdoor apparel and accessories In 2016 outdoor apparel and accessory products sold for $1,827 billion, up 7.7% from $1 trillion in 2015, and $1 billion more than in 2015 and 2016 combined.
Outdoor equipment sales grew 1.1%.
Outdoor equipment was the most popular category of outdoor equipment sales in 2017, and this was the only category that experienced growth in 2016 relative to 2015 and 2015 combined.
The year-over-year increase in outdoor equipment was greater than the growth in the other outdoor equipment categories.
Outdoor lighting and fixtures Outdoor lighting in 2016 had a total sales volume of $1.,636 billion, down 3% from 2016.
Outdoor fixtures, a subcategory of outdoor lighting, sales totaled $2 billion, or 4.1% of outdoor sales.
The growth in outdoor lighting was greater in outdoor than indoor categories.
Other categories Outdoor accessories and outdoor lighting sold for an additional $3 billion in 2016 as outdoor accessories and indoor lighting grew by 4.2%, and outdoor accessories grew 2.7%.
Outdoor lighting was the second-most popular outdoor accessory category in 2016 after outdoor furniture.
Outdoor goods and services Outdoor goods, a category that includes outdoor clothing sets, clothing, outdoor shoes, and other outdoor accessories, sold for a total of $2 trillion in 2016 and was the top selling category in the Outdoor goods category, according to Nielsen Consumer.
Outdoor services and other products Outdoor services, which includes services for outdoor recreation, entertainment, and travel, sold $1:1 for 2016, up 9.5%.
Outdoor services sales in Outdoor services in 2016 exceeded $2 million per day, up 11% from the year previous.
The biggest growth in Outdoor service sales in this category was in travel services, up 24.3 percent from 2015, but travel services accounted for only 14.7 percent of all outdoor services sales.
Outdoor travel services in outdoor travel services sold $3,917 billion in outdoor services, or 9.4 percent of the outdoor services category.
